About
My Empa-thesis
What do you do when you design for a top 5 athletic brand (my high school gym coach would have been so surprised)? That’s right – walk the walk, run the run. There is no better way to understand a user than to be “in their shoes”.
My M.O. as a UX Designer is to learn, understand, feel for the user in the best way I can – and when possible, to be all in. The biggest part of my process is that I have to believe in the products, services and the company I serve because that’s when the magic happens. If the empathy path is a natural part of my work product, I am in my happy place.
The joy of designing is only magnified when we, as designers, are able to produce useful, desirable and delightful things for our user. Earnestly knowing what those things are is the magic.
